The Hydrogen-electric Two-way Conversion and Energy Storage Integrated System Put into Operation Successfully
On Jun. 24th, the hydrogen-electric two-way conversion and energy storage integrated system, developed by Hangzhou Pingdan Power Design Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Pingdan Technology"), together with State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Research Institute, Zhejiang University of Technology, Zhejiang Electric Power Design Institute and etc., was successfully put into operation at Huzhou Binhu Comprehensive Energy Station. This is also the first application of the system to the field of integrated energy supply.
The station will provide electric vehicle charging services through photovoltaic power generation, and at the same time use energy storage and hydrogen power bidirectional conversion to realize the shift and full utilization of photovoltaic surplus electricity, and expand the direct supply of hydrogen energy and hydrogen energy power generation supply services. After the station is put into operation, it is expected to provide 90,000 kilowatt-hours of clean electricity every year, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 8.6 tons, and produce 8,500 standard square meters of hydrogen throughout the year, which can support hydrogen-energy vehicles to continue zero-carbon driving for 80,000 kilometers, which will form clean energy production, and a new paradigm of low-carbon closed loop for efficient use of the end.
In this Huzhou Binhu Integrated Energy Station project, Hangzhou Pingdan Technology Co., Ltd. actively utilizes the advantages of existing integrated energy management technology, gives full play to its experience in new energy regulation, and deeply explores the integration and coordinated control technology of hydrogen-electric two-way conversion equipment to create a new type of integrated energy system with "integration of source, network and load hydrogen storage". The system effectively combines multiple subsystems such as flexible DC power distribution network, new energy hydrogen production system, hydrogen energy storage system, hydrogen fuel cell system, hydrogen refueling system, etc., and integrates collection-detection-control-dispatch-protection and other functions, power grid peak shaving, new energy consumption, hydrogen energy utilization, etc., with hydrogen energy as the support point, realizes the coupling of grid valley electricity + new energy hydrogen production and hydrogen fuel cell power generation, and promotes the local consumption of distributed new energy power generation. The system could also improve the flexibility and safety of the regional power grid, and add impetus to green and low-carbon development.
