On Oct. 22nd, accompanied by leaders of the DRC (Development and Reform Commission) of Henan Province and Zhengzhou City, Liang Zhipeng, the Deputy Director of Legal Reform Department of the National Energy Administration, visited CREAT in Zhengzhou city Airport Zone to investigate the development of distributed energy on the spot. An Zhigang, General Manager of Airport CREAT, accompanied the survey activities.
During the investigation, An zhigang expressed warm welcome to the visit of the investigation team, and made detailed report on the construction, operation, energy saving and emission reduction of the Airport CREAT Smart Energy Management System, ground source heat pump air conditioning system, distributed photovoltaic power station, wind power station, etc. The research team was invited to inspect the ground source heat pump room. An Zhigang said, “As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing CREAT Group, with the strong support of the Economic Development Bureau of the Airport Zone, China Merchants Bureau and other bureaus and committees, Airport CREAT has carried out the exploration of the comprehensive energy management model of the park, and built the "source, network, load, storage/storage" micro-energy network based on distributed photovoltaic power generation, wind power generation, ground source heat pump, water storage, battery energy storage, and charging piles (sheds). The integrated energy management and control system for water, electricity, gas, and cooling/heating was also built to create a demonstration project of energy internet and energy digitization in the park”. The project has been affirmed by Henan Provincial Energy Bureau, Zhengzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission and Port Economic Development Bureau, and has received a clean energy project subsidy from the National Energy Administration.
Deputy Director Liang praised Airport CREAT’s smart energy management platform and distributed photovoltaic power generation, ground-source heat pumps, wind power and other clean energy applications, and encouraged CREAT to continue their efforts in the national "carbon peak and carbon neutral" journey, vigorously promote smart energy management platforms, and promote green and low-carbon development of energy, to make new contributions to the realization of the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality".
